Levi & Korsinsky announces it has commenced an investigation of 6D Global Technologies, Inc. (“6D Global” or the “Company”) (NASDAQCM:SIXD) concerning possible violations of federal securities laws by certain officers and directors.

On September 8, 2015, the DOJ indicted the CEO of New York Global Group (“NYGG”), Benjamin Wey, on charges of securities fraud, stock manipulation, money laundering, and wire fraud. Then two days later Wey was arrested and the SEC filed a civil action against him, NYGG, and certain other defendants for their roles in an alleged fraudulent scheme to obtain and profit from undisclosed, controlling ownership interests in several U.S. companies spawned via “reverse Chinese mergers,” including 6D Global, that were secretly controlled by Wey and NYGG; trading of 6D Global stock was halted the same day. Then on October 6, 2015, 6D Global filed an 8-K with the SEC, acknowledging that 3 directors of the Company have resigned from the Board of Directors since September 30, 2015.
