A O Smith : chosen once again as Top 100 China Best Employer

The Chinese recruitment website Zhaopin.com, announced their list of the top 100 best employers in China in 2017, which included A. O. Smith once again.

This is the sixth time A. O. Smith has been included on the list.

To earn the Top 100 China Best Employer Award the companies are professionally evaluated based on: employer image, management, salary and benefits, growth and training, work environment and company culture. The evaluation was done by a jury committee and public online voting by employees and job seekers. The jury committee consists of academic professionals, employment specialists, senior media reporters and third-party consultants.

The annual competition is jointly sponsored by Zhaopin.com and the Social Survey Research Center of Peking University. The first competition was launched in 2005 by Zhaopin.com, the Economic Channel of China Central Television, and Peking University, which first introduced the concept of 'employer brand' into the human resources management field in China.

As the enterprise company's brand awareness continues to grow, the best employer competition continues to rise in popularity. In 2017, the number of applicants for 'Best Employer' reached 17,554, an increase of 80 percent over the same period in 2016. To be awarded a spot on the Top 100 China Best Employer list is competitive. A. O. Smith won once again based on its fair and impartial business environment, diverse promotional ways, and longstanding corporate culture.

A. O. Smith has earned the Top 100 China Best Employer, Top 30 China Best Employer, and Most Popular Employer among Graduates awards several times since 2011.
