AKRON, Ohio - December 11, 2017 - A. Schulman Inc. (Nasdaq-GS: SHLM), a leading international supplier of
high-performance plastic compounds announces a significant expansion of the production capacity at their site in Givet, France.

A. Schulman added an additional production line of 45.000 tons of volume, which makes their site in Givet its largest masterbatch plant in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. The new mega-plant is supplying customers with additives, white masterbatches and specialty compounds.

This capacity expansion adds up to other recent investments in A. Schulman sites in Turkey, France, Hungary, Spain, Italy and Poland. By adding capacity in key geographic areas, A. Schulman follows it strategy of serving customers even faster and better through a combination of technical expertise and increased volume.
