15% of Imported Cars Were Re-Exported to Other CEE Countries

Prague, 22 October 2013: In 2013, the AAA AUTO Group achieved a record year with its importing of 4,000 near-new used cars from the EU. About 15% of these cars were immediately re-exported to the CIS (mainly Russia), the Ukraine and other eastern European countries (mainly the Baltic Republics). AAA AUTO is looking to increase the number of these exportable cars by negotiating directly with some of the largest European car auction houses.

"For many years, the Czech market has been faced with a shortage of well-equipped, almost new, one owner, never-in-an-accident cars with complete service history. The majority of such sought after imported cars are 2-5 years old and fall within a CZK 150,000-300,000 price range. We have been looking to purchase used cars with specifications that are hard to find on the Czech market - which means a vehicle that is fully equipped with an appealing engine and preferred color. All cars have the option of a VAT deduction. Most of the vehicles are of German or French origin with VW, Ford, Peugeot and Renault being among the sought after makes. We also want to satisfy our customers´ demand for 4x4s, SUVs and luxury cars,"explained Petr Van
