AAREAL BANK AG
Wiesbaden, 4 December 2014 - In its meeting today, the Supervisory Board of Aareal Bank AG appointed the Bank's Chief Financial Officer, Mr Hermann J. Merkens, as Deputy Chairman of the Management Board, with effect from today. Mr Merkens has been a member of the four-person Management Board since 2001. The Board has been headed by Dr Wolf Schumacher since 2005. Mr Merkens' areas of responsibility include Finance, Risk Controlling, and Credit Management.
