ATLANTA, GA -November 20, 2017-- Almir Hadzialjevic, Vice President, Enterprise Risk & Security for Aaron's, Inc., (NYSE: AAN), a leading omnichannel provider of lease-purchase solutions, has been appointed to serve on the National Technology Security Coalition's (NTSC) Board of Directors. Representing the retail industry, Hadzialjevic will provide guidance as to the strategic direction of the NTSC and joins information security executives who represent a broad cross-section of enterprise companies and have a vested interest in protecting the security of their customers and employees through policies that improve national cybersecurity standards and awareness.

As Vice President of Enterprise Risk & Security at Aaron's, Hadzialjevic provides strategic direction, governance, and oversight over the company's information security program. Prior to this role, he served as the Director of IT Compliance, Information Security & Privacy, where he pioneered the design and implementation of the company's information security and privacy compliance function.

Prior to joining Aaron's, Hadzialjevic worked for Ernst & Young, LLP as part of its Advisory Services practice where he played a critical role in advising Fortune 500 clients in assessing, developing, and maturing their enterprise technology and security strategies, compliance, controls frameworks, and business processes.
