November 26, 2014 - Abengoa (MCE: ABG.B/P SM /NASDAQ: ABGB), the international company that applies innovative technology solutions for sustainability in the energy and environment sectors and the Official Sustainable Technology Partner of Manchester United, has announced the launch of the Reds Go Green Competition in collaboration with Manchester United, in an initiative to raise awareness of renewable energy, innovation, technology and sustainable development.

Can sport help us change the way we think about the environment, sustainability and energy use? Manchester United and Abengoa believe that we are all willing to play a part to help create a more sustainable world and have launched the "Reds Go Green" initiative to raise awareness among fans about caring for the environment and sustainability.

The Reds Go Green Competition, part of the Abengoa and Manchester United programme, is a monthly competition in which participants will have to correctly answer a series of questions by looking for the answers on Abengoa's microsite, www.theenergyofchange.com. The winners will receive two tickets to Manchester United's next match (including accommodation and travel costs). This initiative is designed to show Manchester United's fans that a better world is possible and that now is the time to help preserve our planet.
