Tickets sales open for annual camp-inspired festival that includes live music, a 5K race, local food and drink and
family-friendly activities-all to raise funding to send children with serious illnesses to camp

New Albany, Ohio, June 12, 2018: Abercrombie & Fitch Co. (NYSE: ANF) announced today the headliners for its annual fundraiser, The A&F Challenge, benefiting SeriousFun Children's Network. International musical artists Fitz and the Tantrums, Judah & the Lion, Betty Who and Van William will headline the camp-inspired festival on Friday, September 7, 2018.

Held at the Abercrombie & Fitch Co. (A&F Co.) home office in New Albany, the family-friendly event features headlining bands on the main stage, regional and Central Ohio musicians on an acoustic stage, a 5K race, local food and drink, and activities for every age. The A&F Challenge is a party for a cause that draws more than 4,000 guests and has raised more than $16 million for nonprofit organizations since its inception in 2001. In 2017, its second year benefiting SeriousFun, The A&F Challenge raised more than $3 million, making it the world's largest SeriousFun fundraiser.

Founded by actor and philanthropist Paul Newman, SeriousFun is a global community of camps for kids with serious illnesses and their families. It offers brick-and-mortar camps and pop-up programs across the globe that allow children, no matter their medical condition, the opportunity to experience the magic of camp-always free of charge. The network includes Flying Horse Farms in Mt. Gilead, Ohio, located approximately 30 miles from the A&F Co. home office.

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. first connected with Flying Horse Farms in 2011, shortly after it opened. Since camp's inception, A&F Co. associates have volunteered more than 15,000 hours at Flying Horse Farms. Driven by a groundswell of associate enthusiasm, the partnership expanded to one with the entire SeriousFun Children's Network. In 2016, A&F made a $15 million, five-year commitment to SeriousFun. The unique partnership includes a camp counselor program that sends more than 100 A&F associates to volunteer as camp counselors at 15 camps around the world each summer, and to date, associates have spent more than 45,000 hours volunteering across the network.

'The A&F Challenge is an amazing event that raises funding and awareness for the important work done by SeriousFun Children's Network. The camp-inspired event truly is for everybody and is a great night filled with wonderful music, food and fun,' said Fran Horowitz, CEO of Abercrombie & Fitch Co. 'Paul Newman founded this network of camps because he believed that children with serious illnesses should get the chance to just be kids. We whole-heartedly agree. And we hope to see even more people on our campus this September so that together, we can give thousands of kids the magical, life-changing experience of summer camp.'

The A&F Challenge is 5 to 11 p.m. on September 7 at the A&F Co. home office, 6301 Fitch Path, New Albany, OH, 43054. Tickets-which include admission, 5K, music, food, drinks and activities-cost $75 for adults and $25 for children at www.anfchallenge.org. Participants are invited to fundraise beyond their ticket price to raise additional money for SeriousFun.
