Campaign to provide funding for an expanded 24/7 volunteer support program for LGBTQ youth in crisis

New Albany, Ohio, June 6, 2018: Abercrombie & Fitch, a division of Abercrombie & Fitch Co. (NYSE: ANF), is excited to partner once again with The Trevor Project, the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning (LGBTQ) young people. Abercrombie & Fitch Co. has supported the organization since 2010 to bring further awareness and funding to the important work of the LGBTQ youth-focused organization.

The company is proud to show its support and ongoing commitment to the LGBTQ community and, to celebrate Pride month, the A&F team has designed limited edition product. Together with its customers, A&F will raise and donate at least $250,000 to The Trevor Project in 2018. This contribution, raised through a portion of product sales and an in-store round up in the US, will help the nonprofit transform its 24/7 crisis support programs, by co-funding the training of hundreds of volunteers to join its 24/7 suicide prevention programs.

'Abercrombie & Fitch's generous contribution and long-term support of the LGBTQ community will help us serve even more LGBTQ youth in crisis around the country,' said Amit Paley, CEO and Executive Director of The Trevor Project. 'We're proud to partner with them on this line during Pride month and to send a message to LGBTQ youth everywhere that they should be proud of who they are.'

'The work that The Trevor Project and its team do for LGBTQ youth in need is vital,' said Stacia Andersen, Brand President of Abercrombie & Fitch. 'We are proud to support the further development of its online crisis platform; this will allow its team to connect with LGBTQ youth on the platforms on which they feel most comfortable engaging, and for The Trevor Project to have a positive impact on even more lives.'
