EU AIFMD Arrangements

Aberdeen Latin American Income Fund Limited ("the Company") announces the following in connection with the EU Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive ("Directive"):

Exemption from Alternative Investment Funds (Jersey) Regulations 2012 ("Jersey Regs")

In accordance with the Jersey Regs, the Jersey Financial Services Commission ("Commission") has granted its permission for the Company to be marketed within any EU Member State or other EU State to which the Directive applies. The Company's registration certificate with the Commission is now conditioned such that the Company "must comply with the applicable sections of the Codes of Practice for Alternative Investment Funds and AIF Services Business".

National Private Placement Register

Aberdeen Private Wealth Management Limited ("APWM"), as the Company's non-EEA alternative investment fund manager, has notified the UK Financial Conduct Authority in accordance with the requirements of the UK National Private Placement Regime of its intention to market the Company (as a non-EEA AIF under the Directive) in the UK.

Pre-investment disclosure document

In addition, in accordance with Article 23 of the AIFM Directive and Rule 3.2.2 of the FCA FUND Sourcebook, APWM is required to make available certain disclosures for potential investors in the Company. These disclosures are available on the Company's website: www.latamincome.co.uk.
