Abertis Infraestructuras is one of Spain's top highway concession operators. In February 2006, the group acquired the French concession operator Sanef. The activity is organized around 3 areas of activity:
- highway construction and concession management: 3,757 km of toll roads operated directly (through the integration of Sanef). Abertis Infraestructuras is No. 3 in Europe for kilometers managed;
- construction and management of airports: the group operates 29 airports throughout the world;
- telecommunication services (No. 1 in Spain): operating fiber optic networks located along highways, TV and radio transmission services using analog and digital networks (Retevision), etc.
In October 2011, the group sold the parking operation ensured through the Saba group and the logistics services ensured through Cilsa and Sevisur activities.
