NEW YORK, April 22, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- ABM (NYSE:ABM), a leading provider of facility solutions, announced today that ABM Government Services has been awarded two task orders under different contract vehicles for services at the Ireland Army Community Hospital at Fort Knox, KY. In addition, ABM Government Services was the major subcontractor on an EAGLE task order to provide logistic support services for the installation. 

Under the Operation, Maintenance & Incidental Repair & Minor Construction to Support the US Army Medical Command (MEDCOM) facilities program, ABM Government Services will provide all services, materials supplies, tools, labor, equipment to maintain, repair, and operate real property facilities/systems within the Ireland Army Community Hospital and support buildings/structures. This task order was awarded through the Mobile District of the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers and is expected to generate approximately $3 million in revenue the base year and potentially $12 million over the life of the four-year contract. 

As a task order under the Design Build for DOD Army Medical Facilities Contract, ABM Government Services will also provide all labor, materials and equipment to perform renovations at the hospital. This task order was also awarded through the Mobile District of the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers and is expected to generate revenue of approximately $4.6 million with a completion date of approximately March 23, 2017.

Additionally, ABM Government Services was the major subcontractor on an EAGLE Task Order to provide logistic support services at Fort Knox under the U.S. Army's Enhanced Army Global Logistics Enterprise (EAGLE) program.  ABM Government Services provides materiel maintenance, ammunition services, and the associated logistics analysis and management functions in support of the Fort Knox Logistics Readiness Center mission. This task order was awarded through the Army Contracting Command at Rock Island, IL with an ABM Government Services value of approximately $2.4 million in revenue in the base year and potentially $14 million over the life of this five-year contract.
