ABN AMRO is pleased to announce Karin Kersten has been appointed as Global Head of Trade and Commodity Finance for its Corporate & Institutional Banking business. In trade and commodities financing, ABN AMRO has a leading position.

After her degree in Business Economics at Katholieke Universiteit Nijmegen, Ms Kersten started her career in 1996 as a senior associate Corporate Finance & Capital Markets with MeesPierson. In 2000, she became a management consultant at McKinsey & Company. Ms Kersten returned to the financial sector in 2003 to take on different roles, amongst others in the integration of Fortis Bank Netherlands and ABN AMRO, Risk Management and Transaction Banking.
