ABN AMRO is pleased to announce Marina Shevtsova has been appointed Chief Financial Officer for ABN AMRO UK.

Robbert Booij, Country Executive ABN AMRO UK, said: 'I am delighted to have Marina join the UK Executive Committee. Her energy and commitment will make a valuable contribution to further growing and strengthening our UK business in the coming years'.

Marina is an experienced executive with in depth expertise in the financial services sector. Prior to joining ABN AMRO, Marina was part of KPMG's banking team, working with global financial institutions on a wide range of matters. Marina Shevtsova has a Diploma in German law from Friederich-Alexander Universität in Nűrnberg, a law degree from Nottingham Trent University and a postgraduate from the Inns Of Court School of Law.

ABN AMRO's presence in the UK consist of specialized Corporate and Commercial banking business lines which include Clearing, Commercial Finance, Leasing and Global Markets which cooperate closely with their customers. Today, ABN AMRO in the UK employs 400 staff and has its Head Office in London. In 2016, ABN AMRO announced the ambition to grow its international business. This includes the growth of corporate banking activities in the UK within the bank's sectors of expertise. In April 2017, Zafar Khan was appointed as Head of UK Coverage, Corporate & Institutional Banking.
