Accenture (NYSE:ACN) is positioned in the “Leaders” quadrant of independent analyst firm Gartner Inc.’s recent report, "Magic Quadrant for Business Operations Consulting Services, Worldwide1.”

Gartner defined business operations consulting services as those that “help companies analyze, define, validate and improve operations, and they require strong capabilities in program management, change management and governance.”

Following Gartner’s evaluation of nine providers of business operations consulting services, they wrote that the companies categorized as “Leaders are performing well today, gaining traction and mind share in the market; they have a clear vision of market direction and are actively building competencies to sustain their leadership positions.”

“We believe being positioned once again in Gartner’s Leader quadrant is a testament to the value Accenture Strategy delivers to its clients by helping them design innovative, technology-enabled strategies that contribute to bottom-line benefits in both manufacturing-based and service-based operations,” said Mark Pearson, senior managing director, Accenture Strategy. “To achieve long-term competitiveness, companies need to apply digital technologies not just to reduce the cost of their operations, but to increase their value and agility as a means to drive growth and innovation.”
