Gartner assessed 20 service providers across 16 criteria for the Vendor Panorama and writes, “Here, we profile the TPM and TPO marketplace, and the leading vendors in it, to help consumer goods companies use technology to better manage trade promotions.” This is the second year that this report has been published and Accenture CAS has been recognized in both reports.

“As the promotional landscape continues to change, we offer our clients the ability to draw on the right information in order to deliver on manufacturers’ promises and meet customer demand,” said Henning Fromme, managing director, Accenture CAS. “We believe this Gartner report recognizes Accenture’s commitment to creating a highly usable trade promotion management solution that integrates trade promotion optimization functionality, creating a single solution that successfully manages promotions from start to finish.”

According to Gartner, “Technologies related to managing trade promotions have never been more relevant, as the average revenue expended by manufacturers for promotions now exceeds 20 percent of revenue. Companies are leaving spreadsheets for automated technologies, while others are adding promotion optimization capabilities.”
