Accenture (NYSE:ACN) was presented with American Honda’s distinguished Premier Partner Award for the second year at a special ceremony hosted by American Honda Executive Vice President John Mendel in Torrance, CA, on Thursday.

Accenture was recognized for managing and tracking incentive payments, reconciliation and analytics through the Honda and Acura Sales Incentives Management Platform. Accenture was selected from a pool of more than 1,000 eligible suppliers based on excellence in quality, value and customer service.

“Automakers are looking for ways to maximize their return on incentive spends by being flexible and nimble in how purchase and lease incentives are developed and administered to the dealers; and the analytics needed to support them,” said Anant Kamat, managing director in Accenture’s automotive practice and the lead for Accenture’s North American work at Honda. “We are privileged to be recognized by American Honda for our work in this area as part of the 2015 Premier Partner Award. “

Premier Partner Award recipients play a unique role in supporting Honda businesses and operations, including Honda and Acura automobiles, automobile engines and transmissions, Honda all-terrain vehicles, power equipment products, general purpose engines and the HondaJet advanced light jet.

“We ask all Honda suppliers to join us in prioritizing the end customer above all,” said Charles Harmon, American Honda’s senior manager of procurement and corporate services. “This year’s Premier Partner Award recipients have risen to that challenge and are critical members of the extended Honda family.”
