For the 11th consecutive year, Accenture has been named to Working Mother's Best Companies list. The list recognizes companies that offer family-friendly benefits as part of a flexible workplace.

This year, Chloe Barzey was included as Accenture's Working Mother of the Year and was honored at the Working Mother award gala in New York this week. A managing director based in Atlanta, Chloe has an electrical engineering degree from Cornell University and an MBA from Wharton. She has been with Accenture for 15 years and focuses on serving clients in the Communications industry.

"Working Mother's list is increasingly important as it focuses attention on great companies, best practices and high performers," said Chloe Barzey, managing director, Accenture. "Every day I work with and learn from incredible moms and, as we all strive to achieve our own definitions of success, it's important to recognize the women - and their companies - who work so hard and to honor the impact mentoring, sponsorship and flexibility have on career success."

In addition to honoring Chloe, Working Mother focused on Accenture's Women's Employee Resource Group, which drives initiatives to support women and help them build strong networks, both within Accenture and with the broader community. Currently, Accenture has more than 85 local women's networking groups in 32 countries.

Additionally, Working Mother recognized Accenture's dedication to military veteran recruitment, focusing on the company's membership in the 100,000 Jobs Mission, which aims to support hiring 100,000 transitioning service members and military veterans by 2020.

"With approximately 275,000 people worldwide, Accenture's culture is diverse in the broadest possible sense," said Nellie Borrero, managing director - Global Inclusion & Diversity, Accenture. "This recognition from Working Mother underscores our commitment not only to our working mothers and their families, but to providing flexible work options to support all of our people and help them achieve success at work and at home."

To form its list, Working Mother assesses companies on aspects such workforce representation, child care, flexibility programs and leave policies.
