Accenture (NYSE:ACN) has once again been named a Leader in Gartner Inc.’s recently published “Magic Quadrant for SAP Application Management Services, Worldwide.1” The company was positioned the furthest within the Leaders quadrant for both ability to execute and completeness of vision. The Magic Quadrant report evaluated providers' capabilities to supply SAP® application management services.

The report notes that, “Gartner's CIO survey shows that, on a global basis, ERP is the fourth-highest spending priority for 2014 and 2015 — driving home the reality that sourcing executives and application managers have considerable investment and future budget initiatives dedicated to their core enterprise applications.”

A companion report, Gartner’s “Critical Capabilities for SAP Application Management Service Providers, Worldwide2,” evaluated 17 vendors on seven critical capabilities across three use cases (small, midsize and large-scope and –scale deals) for their ability to provide multiyear SAP application management services. Based on Gartner’s critical capabilities (new technology delivery, integrated business, industrialization, local support, technology stack, service integration and risk-based pricing), Accenture had the highest product scores in all three use cases for the second consecutive year.

“We see Accenture’s positioning as a Leader in this report for four consecutive years as recognition of our industry experience, geographic reach and investments in new technologies such as SAP S/4HANA, analytics, mobility, user experience and cloud,” said Christophe Mouille, global managing director of SAP business for Accenture. “By infusing greater agility, intelligence and automation into delivery, we can help our clients in their digital transformation journeys at speed and scale.”

“Application management used to be thought of as relatively constant and unchanging,” said Kishore Durg, managing director and global testing lead for Accenture. “Today, the pressure is on to keep enterprise systems in sync with massive waves of technology and business disruption. With our market-leading SAP application management services, Accenture is ready to help companies find untapped value in their SAP environments while transforming them to be highly-efficient and digital and cloud-ready.”
