Access Midstream Partners, L.P. (NYSE:ACMP) today announced the commencement of an underwritten public offering of 8,000,000 common units representing limited partner interests owned by Global Infrastructure Partners II (GIP II). GIP II has granted the underwriter a 30-day option to purchase up to 1,200,000 additional common units.

The Partnership will not receive any of the net proceeds from this offering and the number of the Partnership's outstanding common units will remain unchanged. The common units are being offered and sold pursuant to the Partnership's effective shelf registration statement filed December 12, 2012 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
