Portable and easy to use, GBC Discovery document cameras are a perfect solution to help educators make their lectures or classroom instruction visually comprehensive and interactive. All three Discovery models are equipped with an 8 Mega Pixel sensor -- the best sensor available on any document camera in the market. A superior sensor captures more detail while offering greater resolution and light sensitivity. All three GBC Discovery document cameras - models 1100, 3000, and 3100 - operate as stand-alone devices and connect directly via VGA or HDMI to an overhead projector or flat screen television. Some similar models require interface to a computer.

Both the Discovery 3000 and 3100 models have pass-through functionality that enable a user ease of toggling between the camera and a computer, without the need to change cable connections. The user can switch between document camera display and computer content. In addition, the Discovery 3100 unit has a unique light box that allows for displaying film or slides close up, a distinctive feature not available in other products in the market.
