ACE Group today announced its expanded investment in multinational servicing capabilities in its ACE Global Services unit, with the appointment of Gary Kramer as Senior Vice President. Mr. Kramer will lead the ACE Global Services team, applying ACE’s robust experience, expertise, and infrastructure to support the growth of ACE’s multinational business and meet the complex underwriting and servicing needs of ACE’s large multinational customers. In his role, Mr. Kramer will also oversee the delivery of ACE’s sophisticated risk management products, programs, and services through all lines of business that ACE writes for global programs of U.S.-based companies. He will report to Joseph Clabby, Division President, ACE Global Accounts, ACE Group.

Mr. Kramer will continue to be responsible for overseeing ACE Worldview®, an innovative web-based portal launched in 2010 that enables multinational risk managers and brokers to monitor and manage key aspects of their multinational insurance programs, anytime. He was instrumental in launching ACE Worldview for ACE Risk Management (ARM), in 2013, which was designed to give risk managers and brokers real-time access to information, and an extensive document repository. This interactive portal is a service-oriented system that allows users to manage large, complex primary casualty programs, multiple policies, and recent activities.

“I’m pleased to welcome Gary to this key role. This appointment demonstrates our commitment to continually invest in the infrastructure, systems, and operations that support ACE’s multinational services for clients and brokers around the globe,” said Mr. Clabby. “Gary’s proven leadership and deep understanding of client service technologies will support ACE’s further investment in the ACE Worldview portal, an integral component in managing multinational business, particularly as it relates to exchanging data with our clients and brokers.”

ACE’s Global Accounts division was launched in 2013 to service large multinational customers around the globe with complex underwriting and servicing needs, and includes ACE Global Services and ACE Worldview. When combined with the network of ACE’s strategically located global client executives, its extensive multiline insurance operations in 54 countries, its network partners in more than 100 additional regions, and its deep expertise and longstanding experience in serving its customers’ needs, ACE Worldview completes the total package to support clients’ management of their global risk programs.

Since its launch, ACE Worldview has earned significant recognition for innovation from insurance publications, including the 2013 Best’s Review Innovation Showcase, a 2011 Innovation Award from Business Insurance, and a 2011 Risk Innovator Award from Risk & Insurance. Now in use by more than 2,000 clients and brokers, ACE Worldview is part of ACE Global Program SolutionsSM, (ACE GPS), capabilities that together make ACE one of the few insurers that can help companies manage their worldwide risks.

With more than 10 years of insurance industry experience, Mr. Kramer recently served as Vice President, ACE Risk Management. In his tenure with the company, Mr. Kramer held various management positions in ACE Financial Solutions and ACE Risk Management, with particular emphasis on accounting and operations. Prior to this time, he held positions with other global insurance companies and in other non-insurance industries. He holds a Bachelor’s degree of Science in Finance from Rowan University and an M.B.A. in Accounting, from Drexel University.
