ACE USA, the U.S.-based retail operations of the ACE Group, today announced the appointment of Andrea T. Pearson as Senior Vice President and Regional Executive Officer for ACE USA's Western Region. Based in Los Angeles, Ms. Pearson will be responsible for setting and driving the overall strategic direction for the region, which comprises Southern California, Arizona, Nevada, Hawaii and Colorado. She will work collaboratively with ACE USA's regional team to oversee business development, retention and underwriting activities, establish distribution strategies, and coordinate service delivery throughout the region. Ms. Pearson will report to Ed Zaccaria, Division President, ACE USA Regional Operations.

As our Regional Executive, she will bring her energy, optimism and passion for creating client value and delivering results to a wider range of our clients and brokers in the Western Region," said Mr. Zaccaria.

Ms. Pearson joined ACE in 2010 and has more than 25 years of risk management, insurance brokerage and insurance operations experience and leadership. She most recently served as an ACE Global Client Executive, where she worked closely with a select group of ACE's global clients to identify their needs and coordinate with ACE's global network to deliver tailored solutions. Prior to joining ACE, she served as Managing Director of Aon's Account Executive Practice in Los Angeles. She also spent 15 years with General Electric (GE) in a variety of leadership roles, including serving as GE's Global Risk Manager, leading GE Employers' Reinsurance Corporation's Global Claims organization, and serving as the National Commercial Leader for GE Commercial Finance Fleet Services. She began her career with Sedgwick in San Francisco.

Ms. Pearson earned a bachelor's degree in Risk Management and Insurance from the University of Georgia. She is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt and holds the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation.
