GETTYSBURG, PA, March 22, 2016 --- ACNB Bank and OPEN MINDS have announced plans for major renovations and investment in the Bank's buildings located on Lincoln Square and Chambersburg Street. The initiative between the two organizations serves to leverage these historic properties for the accommodation of more staff and economic activity in the buildings.
ACNB Bank is renewing its commitment to Historic Downtown Gettysburg with renovations planned for a new retail banking office lobby at the Bank's original historic site of founding on Lincoln Square in 1857. "The renovation plans are designed to emphasize the historical significance of the building, while offering customers a fresh, new and welcoming environment to conduct banking business. The interior will also incorporate the Bank's current branding and merchandising elements," said Thomas A. Ritter, ACNB Bank CEO.
He continued, "Our intent is to remain a significant business partner and community supporter on Lincoln Square in Historic Downtown Gettysburg --- the heart of ACNB Bank's footprint and history."
In order to make way for the new retail banking office on Lincoln Square, Trust & Investment Services will be relocated to ACNB Bank's North Gettysburg Office at 675 Old Harrisburg Road and other staff members will be relocated to the ACNB Corporation Operations Center at 100 V-Twin Drive in Gettysburg. According to ACNB Bank CEO Ritter, "These relocations will result in better utilization of existing Bank facilities in the Gettysburg market plus provide more convenient access for Trust & Investment Services clients."

OPEN MINDS, currently located at 163 York Street in Gettysburg, is a market intelligence and management consulting firm founded in 1987 that specializes in the sectors of the health and human service field serving consumers with chronic conditions and complex support needs. OPEN MINDS has a national client base that includes some of the largest health care systems, health plans, biotech firms, and health care technology companies in the United States.
Once the renovations are complete, ACNB Bank and OPEN MINDS will have more than 60 staff members working in these buildings. Part of the 24,000 square feet occupied by OPEN MINDS is planned to become public space for meetings, as well as an art gallery and event space.
