DUBLIN, Feb. 18, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Actavis plc (NYSE: ACT) today announced that it intends to issue its fourth quarter and full-year 2013 earnings release as planned on Thursday, February 20, 2014, prior to the opening of the U.S. markets.

However, following the Company's announcement earlier today regarding its proposed acquisition of Forest Laboratories, Inc., Actavis has elected not to conduct an earnings conference call to discuss the quarterly and full-year results.  The call was previously scheduled for Thursday, February 20, 2014 at 8:30 a.m. EST.
