Adelaide Brighton has signed agreements with Lendlease for the supply of construction materials for the Federal and State Government funded $985 million Northern Connector Project - South Australia's first major concrete road.

These agreements relate to the supply of premixed concrete, cement, slag, aggregates and sand to the project.

Supply of premixed concrete produced by Adelaide Brighton has commenced and the supply of raw materials for the onsite project concrete batch plant operated by Lendlease is expected to commence in the coming months.

Adelaide Brighton's total revenue from these contracts is expected to be $20 million over the next two years.

Over and above the supply of materials included in these executed contracts, there is the opportunity to supply additional quarry products (eg aggregates and fill) to the project over the next 2 years.

CEO and Managing Director, Martin Brydon, said the supply of construction materials for the Northern Connector Project will support Adelaide Brighton's South Australian cement, concrete and aggregates manufacturing operations in addition to providing a boost for the economy through jobs and work for local businesses.
