Dortmund, 1 February 2016 - adesso AG offers a quality commitment that is unique in the IT sector: the IT service provider is now giving its customers the right to rectification of errors for software developed by adesso free of charge for a period of ten years. In doing so, adesso clearly exceeds the standard warranty period of one to two years.

If errors occur in customised software components for which the IT provider is responsible, adesso will rectify them free of charge even after the warranty expires for a period of up to ten years after acceptance. This is offered to customers of adesso software development projects on a contractual, fixed price basis.

By granting customers this right, the IT service provider is demonstrating its high level of commitment to quality. The work of all adesso employees automatically comes with comprehensive quality assurance in all project phases - from the initial concept stage to the later realisation of a complex software system.

To achieve a systematically high degree of software quality, the IT service provider is implementing numerous measures including the use of a specialist team for testing, efficient software implementation based on the PITPM model, extensive investment in training, and a broad range of qualifications for employees in various technologies and procedure models.

'Software must be able to accomplish many things, but one thing is vital: that it works. Only then are users able to focus on their main tasks,' said Andreas Prenneis, Member of the Executive Board of adesso. 'And our software works - we know it. But in the event our software fails to operate flawlessly, we offer our customers the additional security of a ten-year error rectification guarantee.'
