Adesso : to present digitalisation solutions for the energy sector at E-world

Dortmund, 23 January 2017 - IT service provider adesso AG will be presenting its integrated portfolio for the digital transformation of the energy sector at E-world energy & water 2017, which is taking place in Essen from 7 to 9 February 2017. Energy providers will learn how they can secure competitive advantages through digitalisation

adesso will be demonstrating its extensive portfolio for the energy sector at booth 1-216 in hall 1. The portfolio consists of IT consulting, the development of custom software, and the implementation and further development of standard solutions. The IT service provider aims to use these services to assist energy providers as they step into the digital future and to enable them to optimise business processes, implement new business models and generate competitive advantages as a result.

adesso offers a special project tool in the form of the Interaction Room, which has been specifically created for identifying digital opportunities and developing viable digitalisation strategies. Often, the first step in the implementation process involves quickly and cost-effectively providing energy providers with a high-performance CRM system based on Microsoft CRM or SAP Hybris Cloud for Customer for the purpose of customer value analyses. These analyses present the expense to income profile for individual customers, determine which ones are the most valuable and reveal the additional potential the customers harbour.

Based on these findings, energy providers can then team up with adesso to develop sustainable new services. These include contracting services, for example, in which a company offers energy-related services that go beyond merely supplying energy. Their aim may be to sustainably reduce the energy costs of a building or to turn it into an energy-plus house that produces energy itself.

The energy industry is one of adesso's core sectors.
