ADP : Aéroports de Paris : July 2014 traffic figures

In July 2014, Aéroports de Paris saw 9.0 million passengers; an increase of 2.6% on July 2013. 6.3 million passengers travelled through Paris-Charles de Gaulle (+3.9%) and 2.7 million through Paris-Orly (-0.3%).
July was impacted by Ramadan which lasted from 28 June to 27 July in 2014 vs. 9 July to 8 August in 2013. This difference of 11 days had a negative impact on the traffic from and to Africa and Middle-East.
International traffic (excluding Europe) was up by 2.1%, buoyed by growth in the following destinations: Asia-Pacific (+7.8%); the Middle East (+5.2%); Latin America (+4.5%) and North America (+1.9%). Two destinations were down: Africa (-1.5%) and the French Overseas Territories (-1.6%);
European traffic (excluding France) strongly increased (+5.2%);
Traffic within France decreased by 2.8%;
The number of connecting passengers was up by 1.3%. The connecting rate stood at 21.0%, down by 0.3 points.
Since the beginning of 2014, Aéroports de Paris passenger traffic has seen growth of 3.9%, with a total of 53.9 million passengers. The number of connecting passengers is up by 3.1%. The connecting rate stands at 23.4%; i.e. a decline of 0.2 points.
Passenger traffic at TAV Airports, 38%-owned by Aéroports de Paris, increased by 8.4% in July 2014 and has risen by 12.4% since the beginning of the year.
