Aéroports de Paris August 2015 traffic figures

In August 2015, Aéroports de Paris saw 9.6 million passengers; an increase of 3.5% on August 2014.

6.7 million passengers travelled through Paris-Charles de Gaulle (+2.7%) and 2.9 million through Paris-Orly

(+5.3%); the two Paris airports recorded the best month ever in terms of passenger traffic.

In July and August 2015, traffic at the Paris airports totalled 19.1 million passengers versus 18.4 million over the same period last year, establishing a new record for this period of the year.

In August 2015:

International traffic (excluding Europe) increased strongly (+4.4%) with growth in the following destinations: the Middle East (+10.0%); North America (+7.5%); Africa (+2.6%); Asia-Pacific (+2.3%) and Latin America (+2.2%). Only the French Overseas Territories were down slightly (-0.3%);

European traffic (excluding France) was up (+3.8%);

Traffic within France decreased slightly (-0.3%);

The number of connecting passengers increased by 6.4%. The connecting rate stood at 23.7%, up by

0.9 points compared to August 2014.

Since the beginning of the year, Aéroports de Paris passenger traffic has seen growth of 2.2%, with a total of 64.6 million passengers. The number of connecting passengers has risen by 2.3%. The connecting rate stands unchanged at 23.4%.

Passenger traffic at TAV Airports, 38%-owned by Aéroports de Paris, increased by 9.1% in August 2015, and has risen by 9.1% (1)since the beginning of the year.
