Bowman, driver of the No. 88 Advance Auto Parts Chevrolet, will visit local Advance Auto Parts Store this Thursday for pre-Pocono Green 250 NASCAR Xfinity Race Party
Brodheadsville, Pa., June 1, 2016 - Advance Auto Parts, a leading automotive aftermarket parts provider in North America, serving both professional installer and do-it-yourself customers is pleased to offer NASCAR fans a chance to meet driver Alex Bowman this Thursday, June 2, 2016 at the Advance Auto Parts store, located at Route 209 HC2 in Brodheadsville, Pennsylvania. Bowman will join fans at the Advance store during a day-long party celebrating this weekend's Pocono Green 250 NASCAR Xfinity race, where Bowman will drive No. 88, a fully wrapped Advance-sponsored race car at the Pocono Raceway in Long Pond, Pennsylvania. Bowman tied his career best finish of third in the Ollie's Bargain Outlet 200 at Dover International Speedway last month.
'It is going to be a fun weekend in Pocono, especially since this is the first time that some of these guys have raced at the track,' said Bowman. 'Fortunately for me, I have four cup races under my belt here. After the run that we had going in Dover with the No. 88 Advance Auto Parts team, we are all looking forward to getting back on track this weekend. JR Motorsports has a lot of great resources and I have a great team behind me, so I know that we are going to bring a fast machine. We have a lot of guests from Advance Auto Parts coming out to the track this weekend and I am excited to visit the Brodheadsville Store on Thursday and meet all of their team members and race fans!'
The store event starts at 1 p.m., rain or shine, and includes a cookout, prizes and giveaways. Bowman will arrive to meet fans and sign autographs at 6:30 p.m. The public is invited to join this celebration of car culture and the excitement of NASCAR.
Fans attending the Pocono Green 250 Xfinity Race this weekend are invited to visit the Advance Auto Parts Rev it Up! Tour RV.
