Advanced NFP (Advanced) has announced the addition of new functionality to Donor Strategy, its CRM and fundraising management solution for small-to-medium sized charities. The additional features are designed to enhance charities' engagement strategy with donors by offering integration to best-in-class fundraising applications.

Extended functionality to the Donor Strategy solution includes integration with:

  • Bing Maps - to allow charities to visualise the geographic location of their donors across the UK, using the data held on them within the CRM. By understanding the geographic spread of donors, local campaigns and events can better target  prospects.
  • Just Giving - to allow charities to capture donor data from this platform seamlessly into Donor Strategy.
  • Mail Chimp -  to enable charities to send personalised targeted marketing campaigns via email to their donors including regular eshots and newsletters, based on data within the Donor Strategy solution.
  • Web Connect -  which already enables fundraisers and donors to handle online donations, merchandising and event booking, and will now support online direct debit sign up, an increasingly vital component to the success of recruitment and upgrade campaigns designed to secure new regular donors.

Simon Fowler, Managing Director, Advanced Business Solutions (NFP division), says, "Charitable organsations are constantly identifying innovative ways to engage with potential donors and source new streams of income. With this in mind we have a responsibility to continue to invest in our solutions to support their requirements.

"By introducing new functionality like Bing Maps, we're making it as easy as possible for charities to understand where fundraising opportunities lie so they can  deliver personalised engagement with new and exisiting donors. Email and online services are increasingly key channels for communications and these new capabilities will help drive better management of campaigns and contribute to an improved return on investment from their fundraising activities."
