15th April 2013 - Leading unified communications provider, Advanced 365 (Advanced), has reached the final of the MicroScope Awards for Channel Excellence (ACEs) 2013, in the network category for the best unified communications (UC) project. The winners will be announced in June 2013.
Now in their sixth year, the MicroScope ACEs celebrate the best of the UK channel, by recognising those organisations that have delivered the best service, products and support. Advanced was shortlisted for the best UC project by a judging panel of industry experts, with the overall winners being determined by end user votes.
Neil Cross, Managing Director of Advanced 365 says, "It's a fantastic achievement to have reached the final of these prestigious awards for our UC offer. More and more businesses are investing in UC technologies to enable greater collaboration, improving communication and productivity.
"Advanced 365 is committed to helping clients get the most from UC by establishing a collaboration strategy and customising and deploying technology around this."
Advanced is being recognised for its work with Killik & Co, one of the UK's leading independent stockbroking, investment and wealth management group. Killik & Co chose Advanced to help with its telephony and voice recording. The telephony system is saving the company £30,000 per annum.
Advanced also delivered a UC package for ColArt, the world's leading supplier of colour and art materials. ColArt's UK staff can now communicate more effectively through a mixture of methods including instant messaging, web meetings and video conferencing. The success of the project will lead to the business's global roll out of Microsoft Lync.
Advanced 365 is a division of Advanced Computer Software plc, a leading supplier of software and IT services to the health, care and business services sectors and is the UK's fastest growing software provider.
