Adveo International : presents its new Strategic Plan 2017-2020 to become The European Platform for Workspace Solutions

Madrid, May 25th 2017.-ADVEO, leading European company in the distribution of office products, has published its Strategic Plan 2017-2020 that will lead to a fully transformation of the group's current business model: ADVEO will change from a traditional wholesaler to The European Platform for Workspace Solutions.

The new Strategic Plan sets down the rules to consolidate this transformation, that began to be implemented in 2016 through the definition of the key operative measures that have already started to be executed and whose first actions have already had an effect in results.

Five strategic pillars support this Strategic Plan to make ADVEO become a Platform: the consumer as the center of all decisions; product knowledge; multi-logistic services; technological solutions for processes; and partner of reference for the different participants of the chain.

The new Platform has begun to be more efficient when running the traditional wholesaler model and at the same time it will develop new strategic blocks to foster the profitable growth for the next years. Optimizing the supply base, developing own brands, direct sale and a renewed value proposition for the network Calipage are part of these new strategic concepts.

As a result of the implementation of this Plan, in 2020 we expect total revenue of about €720m that, compared to the total income in 2016, excluding what corresponds to the EOS business, it would be 34% higher.

Concerning profitability, in 2020 we estimate a €60m EBITDA, compared to €22m in 2016, and a 9% EBITDA margin, that is almost six points more than in the previous year (3.1%).

As a part of this process, ADVEO is already redefining its financial structure aiming at facing the future challenges of the Strategic Plan, as ADVEO already announced to the CNMV on April 11th.
