Adveo International : signs agreement with ALC to outsource logistics in Spain for the next 8 years

Madrid, September 7th.- ADVEO and Actividades Logísticas Centralizadas (ALC) have signed an agreement to outsource the company's logistics services for the next 8 years. The deal responds to ADVEO's Strategic Plan 2017-20, announced last May, that will lead to a fully transformation of the group's current business model: ADVEO will change from a traditional wholesaler to The European Platform for Workspace Solutions.

New challenges in the market require a more prepared Platform to give an answer to every model of logistics (direct, indirect, B2C, B2B, B2B2C…) in order to guarantee a high level of service and promptness in delivery, while maximizing synergies in Europe, that is, more efficiency and multi-logistic services, adapted to the market evolution, which will be fostered through the ALC's management.

Operations will concentrate in a 19,000 m2 logistic platform, fully mechanized and with automatic processes, located in Tres Cantos (Madrid). ALC will manage all in-house services that will allow flexibility and efficiency standards achievement. The logistics company will manage around 16,000 SKU and will provide a 300-day service in three daily shifts.
