AEGON AM REGD CT : Transamerica Launches the WE ARE THE TOMORROW MAKERS National Ad Campaign

AEGON's operations in North America are coming together under the
organization's strongest retail brand: Transamerica. In conjunction with
this realignment, Transamerica has launched a new advertising campaign
to reintroduce the brand. The campaign, which was developed with the
brand communications agency JWT, is entitled, WE ARE THE TOMORROW MAKERSSM.
Featured in television ads, in consumer and trade publications, as well
as in online media, the campaign aims to make tangible the benefits
Transamerica delivers to its customers.
"We have come together under the Transamerica banner to leverage our
collective experience and embrace the best of where we came from," said
Mark Mullin, member of AEGON's Management Board and President and CEO of
Transamerica. "Our new advertising campaign features the essence of what
our people do to help our customers create better tomorrows with

Transamerica is also inaugurating its new tagline--TRANSFORM TOMORROWSM--which
serves as a call to action for consumers to take control of their
future, and also makes clear the role of the people of Transamerica in
helping customers take responsibility for their financial security. The
Transamerica Pyramid, an iconic building which distinguishes the San
Francisco skyline, continues to be the corporate symbol and serves as
the centerpiece of the new campaign. The first of a series of television
spots depicts the interior of the Pyramid as an extraordinary "factory"
where, together with sales representatives, Transamerica employees work
to make tomorrows for their customers. Other advertising spots focus on
Transamerica's core businesses: Insurance, Investments and Retirement.
