Aetna : HCA HOSPITALS JOIN AETNA’S NETWORK FOR MEDICARE ADVANTAGE MEMBERS IN CLARK COUNTY

LAS VEGAS, June 27, 2014 - Aetna (NYSE: AET) announced today that it has signed an agreement with HCA that expands access to facilities for members of Aetna's individual and group Medicare Advantage plans in Clark County.

Under the agreement, effective immediately, members of Aetna's individual and group Medicare Advantage plans can receive covered services, at in-network rates, at Mountain View Hospital, Southern Hills Hospital, Sunrise Hospital and Sunrise Children's Hospital in the Las Vegas area. The HCA hospitals have been in-network for Aetna's commercial members in the county since 2006.

"Aetna is very happy to expand its relationship with the HCA hospitals in Las Vegas to include members of our individual and group Medicare Advantage plans," said Christy Daffern, executive director of Aetna's operations in Nevada. "Our commercial members have benefited from having access to the HCA hospitals and affiliated doctors. We're pleased that our group Medicare Advantage customers will be able to do the same."

Aetna provides health benefits to approximately 114,000 members in southern Nevada. Those members have access to a contracted network that includes 11 hospitals and more than 3,000 primary care and specialist physicians.
