Affine delivers Maison du Whisky its new corporate headquarters

Maison du Whisky, a French company specialising in the import and retail of rare whiskies, settles in the new building Les Horizons at Porte de Clichy. From October, it will establish its corporate headquarters over approximately 1,500 sqm, and will take the whole 7 levels (from the basement level to the 6thfloor) in the building, under a 12-year lease, starting with a 6-year fixed term, signed in December 2015 with Affine, for an annual rent of approximately €0.5m. This building was acquired by Affine on a turnkey basis in October 2015 from the property developer Préférence Home.

The building will benefit from the BREEAM label and has a distinctive facade with vegetation and flower planters on each level, in addition to a rooftop terrace.

It is located at the exit from the Paris ring road and is part of the Clichy-Batignolles Paris area, one of the new major hub at the north-west of Paris around the coming Judicial Precinct.

The new building, Les Horizons, witnesses Affine's strategy to invest in new, efficient properties, as part of its initiative to achieve balanced development between Paris Métropole and the major French cities such as Bordeaux, Lille, Lyon, Marseille, Nantes and Toulouse.

Partnering with property developers from the very early stages is one way of acquiring new high-quality buildings with a satisfactory potential returns.
