Gulnara Khasyanova appointed President of SMM

Moscow, Russia - February 21, 2014 - OJSC Sistema Mass Media ("SMM" or the "Company"), one of the leading media holding companies in Russia, today announces that its Board of Directors has appointed Gulnara Khasyanova as President of the Company starting from March 1, 2014. The decision on this appointment was taken during the Board meeting held on February 20, 2014.

Gulnara Khasyanova graduated from the Moscow Technical University of Communications and Informatics (MTUCI) with a degree in Economics and Management in Communications. She also holds PhD in Economics.                     Mrs. Khasyanova is currently serving as CEO of the LTE Union. From April 2007 to April 2011, she was Managing Director of CJSC Sky Link. From April 2005 to April 2007, Mrs. Khasyanova worked as Deputy Director General for commercial activity at JSC Interregional Transit Telecom. From August 1992 to January 2003, she held a number of positions in OJSC Rostelecom.
