Paul S. Amos, II, Resigns from Aflac

COLUMBUS, Ga., June 8, 2017/PRNewswire/ -- Aflac, the leading provider of voluntary insurance at the work site in the United States, today announced that Paul S. Amos, IIhas resigned from his position as President of Aflac and from the Board of Directors of Aflac Incorporated to join a private equity firm, effective July 1. Dan Amos, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, is assuming the title of President of Aflac and associated responsibilities. Additional responsibilities will be shared by select members of the executive management team in Japanand the U.S.

Upon his resignation, Paul Amossaid, 'I have been fortunate to be involved with this company my entire life. I've enjoyed it and have decided it's time for me to look forward to the next phase.'
