U.S. Army Western Region Medical Command joins other regional commands in implementing the company's advanced solution for diagnostic radiology imaging healthcare

(RSNA 2014, Booth #4708, South Hall) Agfa HealthCare today reports the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) has awarded the company a contract to implement and support its enterprise diagnostic imaging solution, IMPAX. IMPAX is Agfa HealthCare's advanced solution for diagnostic radiology imaging, including tools to improve workflow, analysis, and operations for medical imaging management and collaboration.

Agfa HealthCare's IMPAX solution will be implemented at these U.S. Army Western Region Medical Command (WRMC) medical treatment facilities:
• William Beaumont Army Medical Center (WBAMC), TX
• Evans Army Community Hospital (EACH), CO
• General Leonard Wood Army Community Hospital (GLWACH), MO
• Irwin Army Community Hospital (IACH), KS
• Weed Army Community Hospital (WACH), CA
• RW Bliss Army Health Center (RWBAHC), AZ
• Munson Army Health Clinic (MAHC), KS

WRMC is the third U.S Army regional award to Agfa HealthCare via DLA's Digital Imaging Network/Picture Archiving and Communication System contract (DIN-PACS III). Agfa HealthCare's IMPAX is in use in the Southern Region Medical Command (SRMC) and the Northern Region Medical Command (NRMC).
