Have you ever seen pink penguins "walk" across a ceiling? Attendees of ISA's Sign Expo 2014 can experience a bit of whimsy at Agfa Graphics' "House of Asanti," a colorful application zone created entirely by inkjet, designed to inspire. An inkjet marvel, the "House of Asanti" is located on Agfa Graphics' Sign Expo booth (#1736) at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida from April 24th through the 26th.
The "House of Asanti" application zone will feature six rooms across two floors of both artistic and practical inkjet output - such as fine art, musical instruments, light fixtures, furniture, doors, penguins and more - on the walls, windows and floors, all created by printing systems, media and software available through Agfa Graphics. Attendees can interact with the "House of Asanti" kiosk to learn how the many different applications were created and experience how Agfa Graphics technologies can help them in their own business.
"Our objective is to spark the imagination and inspire creativity for our customers while showing new opportunities where inkjet can go in the future," said Deborah Hutcheson, Director of Marketing, Agfa Graphics, North America. "The House of Asanti provides solid ideas and methods for achieving those ideas so print service providers can broaden their offerings to their customers."
"House of Asanti" was developed using Asanti, the new Agfa Graphics sign and display PDF workflow. Asanti was born out of the experience Agfa derived from its award-winning commercial PDF workflow, Apogee. Asanti is designed for entry-level and mid-sized production companies looking to streamline their productivity, integrate color consistency and fidelity, and enable fully accountable end-to-end quality management.
The Asanti Suite includes Asanti StoreFront, a cloud-based, web-to-print system that requires minimal up-front investment. This easy-to-use online shopping solution is designed to help print service providers grow their businesses and explore new markets.
These and other Agfa Graphics products and services will be featured in booth #1736 at ISA's Sign Expo, being held April 24-26, 2014, at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. For more information or free passes to the show, visit www.agfapitman.com.
