Agfa Graphics North America, a leader in inkjet imaging and
substrates, will feature several printing systems and
unique applications at the 2012 International Sign Expo
being held in Orlando, Florida, from March 22nd through the
24th (booth #1036).
Agfa Graphics will have the entry-level :Anapurna M2540 FB,
which is making its first Sign Expo appearance. The
:Anapurna M2540 FB is a time saving system featuring
revolutionary quick-change vacuum bed technology, six
colors (CMYKLcLm) and white ink. Designed to accommodate
the growing market needs for printing on rigid substrates,
the :Anapurna M2540 FB has a maximum print speed of 484
ft2/hr and can print sizes of 8.3' x 5' with
substrates up to 1.77" thick. The UV-curable ink and
fast, efficient curing is ideal for printing on glass,
ceramics and wood, making the :Anapurna M2540 FB an
excellent solution for architectural and interior decor as
well as exterior signs and displays.
Additionally, the Agfa Graphics booth will feature the
36-head :Jeti 3020 Titan FTR (flat-to-roll), a
field-upgradeable (16 heads in base configuration,
expandable up to 48), grand-format, flatbed UV inkjet
printing system that offers white ink and ten different
levels of speed and quality capabilities. The :Jeti 3020
Titan has a maximum print area of 124" x 79.5".
Its Ricoh Gen 4 grayscale print heads offer fast,
high-quality CMYK output and 1200 dpi photorealistic image
quality. Maximum speed of the UV-inkjet system is 2,430
ft2/hr.
Show attendees will also be able to experience Agfa
Graphics' popular "Application Zone."
Featuring Agfa's inkjet know-how, the Application Zone
demonstrates how to create a wide variety of indoor and
outdoor products as well as those relating to home decor
and retail settings. Sample output includes flooring, wall
paper, tabletop design, curtain panels, retail POP, backlit
displays, window graphics, vehicle wraps and more.
