Agfa Gevaert : Graphics Launches v2.3 of Apogee StoreFront and Asanti StoreFront

Newest release adds electronic document distribution, helping commercial printers and wide-format print service providers extend their print service offerings with complementary web services.

Agfa Graphics has added support for electronic document distribution to the latest version of StoreFront, its open web-to-print solutions. Apogee and Asanti StoreFront v2.3 now give print service providers (PSPs) the opportunity to more easily extend their service offerings and reach new markets. Designed for the Commercial Printing and Display/Signage markets, StoreFront 2.3 can be used by any PSP to market new services and products to business customers of any size.
With StoreFront, in addition to their traditional print products, PSPs can sell electronic products like images, PDFs, ePub files or website banners.
"As a cloud-based product, StoreFront offers print service providers a faster and more affordable way to enter the web-to-print market. Tight integration with our production workflow systems saves time and avoids double data entry," said Andy Grant, Global Head of Software, Agfa Graphics. "Printers increasingly want and need to offer additional services to their customers. While print is an essential part of today's communication mix, StoreFront is the perfect tool for PSPs of all kinds to add document creation and distribution into their product offering, making them more essential to their customers as a complete, one-stop communications provider."
StoreFront v2.3 also makes payment by bank transfer or check easy and convenient. As an alternative to online payment with a credit or debit card, printers can now offer payment by wire transfer. This is useful in various markets, such as government or non-profit organizations that are not allowed to pay online using credit cards.
A new invoicing module makes sure buyers receive a comprehensive invoice for all of their orders. These statements are stored as PDF files, for easy printing and archiving.

- HealthCare IT (21.6%). Agfa-Gevaert NV offers Imaging IT Solutions (The Enterprise Imaging platform creates a true imaging record for every patient, containing all possible images of the patient, regardless of the department and the facility that created them), Hospital IT Solutions (the leading Hospital Information System /Clinical Information System ORBIS, connects medical departments and administrative departments of hospitals into one virtual network), and Integrated Care Solutions (these solutions support collaboration across the borders of care organizations and medical disciplines and enable hospitals to actively engage with all stakeholders in the expanded care process, including physicians, informal care-givers and patients) ;
- Offset solutions (5.9%). Agfa-Gevaert NV is a leading supplier to the printing industry, offering innovative and reliable solutions.
