KUWAIT - Agility's Code of Business Ethics and Conduct has been updated as part of a broader effort by the company to encourage and strengthen a culture of ethical behavior and compliance among its 22,000 employees worldwide. The updated Code is an expanded version of the original, introduced in 2006. Release of the updated Code comes as Agility is rolling out new, mandatory online anti-bribery training and releasing an updated version of its Competition Compliance Policy.

"We have worked hard over the years to build a strong, comprehensive code of conduct and ethics program," said Tarek Sultan, Chairman and Managing Director. "We needed to take a fresh look at it because of the complexity of regulations in today's business environment. Employees need guidance and clarity. Ethical behavior has to be in Agility's DNA."

The updated Code provides new Agility Alert Line numbers and contact information to report suspected violations. A revised anti-corruption section reflects stringent standards in new anti-corruption laws in various countries, including some with extra-territorial reach. The Code also lays out Agility's obligations to respect unilateral and multi-lateral trade sanctions.
