Agilysys : Gaming and Resort Professionals Gather at UNLV to Hear from Industry Leaders

In a recent blog we shared the exciting new UNLV Gaming & Hospitality Education Series. A new way for hospitality professionals to learn about the most critical topics faced in the casino industry today. The series features a total of six industry-specific episodes, allowing participants to learn first-hand about the latest technology innovations and trends in both gaming and non-gaming parts of the business.
In the episode to be hosted on May 17th, Agilysys' Vice President of Professional Services, Rob Jacks, will serve as a panelist among other SMEs to discuss strategies for incorporating data analytics into an operation. Often the data already exists in the PMS (Property Management System) and POS (Point-of-Sale). Leveraging this existing patron data, operators uncover more revenue opportunities, and ultimately enhance the guest experience. Gathering effective data is the key to driving revenue in today's hospitality business world. Casino customers spend their money on the gaming floor, but a sometimes-overlooked revenue opportunity is the data profile for these patrons.
