Air New Zealand and New Zealand Winegrowers have partnered with US natural and organic food retail giant Whole Foods Market for a promotion across 250 of the retailer's locations to showcase six of New Zealand's finest wines.

The seven-week promotion will include an opportunity for one customer to win a trip for two to New Zealand touring various vineyards. The promotion also features two Twitter Tastings, inviting wine drinkers from around the world to participate in the conversation about New Zealand wine.

Six New Zealand wines will be prominently featured in Whole Foods Market wine departments, detailing the vintner and tasting notes, suggested food pairings and a recipe.

The New Zealand wines to be showcased will be, Wairau River Sauvignon Blanc, Oyster Bay Chardonnay, Villa Maria The Red Blend, Sophora Sparkling Cuvee, Kim Crawford Pinot Gris, and Grove Mill Pinot Noir.

U.S. shoppers who visit their Whole Foods Market wine department from 17-30 September can enter to win by matching wine pairings with featured wines. Air New Zealand and New Zealand Winegrowers are offering the grand prize, which includes two round-trip Economy tickets from North America to Auckland on Air New Zealand, followed by various winery visits in both the North and South Islands over the nine-day visit.
