Air New Zealand :  New Zealand celebrates new Vietnam route with special $599 offer

The airline will fly three times a week between Auckland and Ho Chi Minh City's Tan Son Nhat International Airport on a seasonal basis from 4 June to 29 October using a Boeing 767-300 aircraft, with the potential to extend the season in subsequent years.

Ho Chi Minh City is Air New Zealand's 30th international destination and further expands the airline's Pacific Rim footprint.

To celebrate Vietnam fares going on sale today, Air New Zealand is offering special introductory Economy fares from just $599 one-way and Business Class from $1,999 one-way.

Air New Zealand Chief Sales and Commercial Officer Cam Wallace says, 'With a flight time of around 11 hours inbound and 12 hours outbound, this new service is a great option for Kiwi travellers looking to soak up the history and culture of Vietnam. It's also the only direct service for those in Vietnam wanting to come and explore New Zealand.'

Air New Zealand's Auckland - Ho Chi Minh City service will operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays as follows:
