As part of his visit to the Farnborough International Air Show, the UK Prime Minister David Cameron was welcomed by Airbus Group CEO Tom Enders.

The Prime Minister was one of the first visitors to the new Airbus A350 XWB as it made its UK air show debut at the 2014 Farnborough International Air Show, where he also met with the Chief Test Pilot of the A350 XWB, Peter Chandler and a group of apprentices and graduates from Airbus in the UK.

In 2013, Airbus Group generated £ 2.5 billion in the UK and secured a future order book of more than £ 23 billion. The company has a workforce of 17,000 and a further 135,000 jobs are sustained via its extended supply chain.
