Toulouse, 29 April 2016 - Airbus Group (stock exchange symbol: AIR) has appointed Marc Fontaine (49) as Digital Transformation Officer (DTO). Currently, he serves as Airbus Company Secretary and Chief of Staff of the Airbus CEO. As DTO, Fontaine will focus on the operational deployment of digital projects that have demonstrated superior business value within the Divisions and Functions. In his new role, he will report to Airbus Group CEO Tom Enders. The appointment will be effective as of 1 May 2016.

The DTO function will also oversee the Airbus Group Corporate IT and Cyber Security Programme of Airbus Group. Marc Fontaine remains in charge of operationally driving the Digital Transformation for Airbus and continues to report to Airbus CEO Fabrice Brégier in this capacity.
